How hot is too hot for standard powder coatings?
Turns out 250 F degrees is about as hot as you'd want to go before running into problems.
Traditional non-high temp powder coatings can withstand up to about 250°F and occasional spikes in temp up to about 350°F - 400°F. For higher temp applications such as exhaust, we recommend the line of Cerakote High Temp products.
